My name is Austin Tatro and I was born in Wichita, KS where I am the third of three children. Before high school I was involved in the Boy Scouts of America and I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. I have been active in sports my whole life, while younger I participated in baseball, basketball, soccer, football, and wrestling, but once I hit middle school I was only in football and wrestling. In High School I wrestled and played football all four years and achieved All league honors for wrestling, as well as an all-state honorable mention in academics my senior year. I was also active in the kids wrestling program as a coach my senior year. I am now on the wrestling team here at Fort Hays and am at the conclusion of my red shirt year. Along with that I am involved with hall council, RHA, CKI, up til’ dawn, and the big brother program. I am currently planning on majoring in physical therapy with an emphasis in nutrition and a minor in leadership and I would like to go back to Wichita, after my 4-5 years are up here at hays, to get my masters so I can be involved in the wrestling program at my old high school.
